Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze and reflect through the thought of Eli Bartra on the question of art and feminism. The dialogue and the interpretation of Eli’s philosophizing allows us to inquire about neutrality and ideology in art, however, they are not denied, but rather it is assumed that they condition actions and activities. In addition, the text adds to the conversation regarding the political dimension of feminism, in this sense it is pointed out that the dominant groups: do not want to assume that their actions lack neutrality, because what they seek is to perpetuate their dominance. Thus, one of the objectives of patriarchy is to maintain the subordination of women, for which it is necessary to value them as objects, and thus prevent them from expressing their freedom. However, Eli Bartra with his philosophizing shows that women are creative and independent, forwhich the care of the family is not their destiny, but only the function that the patriarchy has imposed on them.
