Abstract

The first teaching experience loads the teacher’s life with memory and meaning: leaving home and arriving at a place away from the urban implies a radical change of life, which is also immersed in the communities to which it arrives, promoting in these its relationship from school to the global and turning teaching into the tool to cross the threshold and go beyond what is imagined, developing virtues that mark an imprint on the teaching task. All these sensations, experiences and memories are found in this story.
